Check out two recent fusion projects which rely upon Latin influences in ways which displays a sharp contrast of mood between one another. The mellow guitar-based grooves of Bossalingo blends Jazz with Brazilian and Cuban rhythms. The band performs original compositions by guitarist and leader Michael Joseph Harris whose writing is inspired by the music of Brazil, Cuba, American Jazz, Rock, World, and Folk.
